BOISE, Idahp (KBOI) — Five members of the Norteno gang in Canyon County have been indicted on numerous gang related charges prosecutors say.
Prosecutor Bryan Taylor said Wednesday that four people were arrested on the indictments and seven search warrants were also executed. Authorities found weapons of all kinds, drugs, cash, and gang paraphernalia authorities say.
Law enforcement says they are still searching for Israel Montiel, 29, of Nampa who is wanted for delivery of cocaine with gang enhancement. They say if anyone has information to where he my be, contact local law enforcement or call 911.
The charges were placed by the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, and Firearms, Nampa and Boise City Police Department. The warrants were coordinated between, ATF, Nampa, Boise and Caldwell Police as well as the US Marshals and the Canyon County Sheriff's Office.
Authorities say the four arrested on the Canyon County indictments are:
Brian Orozco, 26, of Parma is being held on a $100,000 warrant. He is charged with supplying firearms to gang members and unlawful possession of firearm.
Adan Jasso-Lopez, 25, of Nampa is being held on $250,000 warrant and has been charged with delivery of cocaine with gang enhancement, delivery of marijuana in presence of a child with gang enhancement.
Albert Estrada, 31, of Nampa is being held on a $500,000 warrant for delivery of cocaine and gang enhancement.
Monroe Martinez, 30, of Nampa is being held on $200,000 warrant for supplying a firearm to a gang, unlawful possession of firearm with gang enhancement and delivery of marijuana with gang enhancement.
