Minecraft has a vast sand-box world with a variety of dimensions and biomes that the players can explore and sometimes players might find some mysterious structures. Here is one such structure called the Minecraft Desert Well, that the players may stumble upon while exploring.
Naturally Generated Structures add that extra flair of mystery and exploration in an otherwise, barren setting of biomes. Different biomes in the Overworld and the Nether can have different naturally generating structures. They may even vary in their size and loot generated.
We take a look at the Minecraft Desert Wells and all their features.
Minecraft Desert Wells
The Minecraft Desert Wells are small structures that can be found in Deserts and are mysterious single standing structures with no additional structures around it.

The Desert Biome in Minecraft can only spawn in the Overworld dimension and can be distinguished by its barren lands and sandy dune-like sandscape. Most of the desert biomes are plain and contains sparse vegetation like dried out plants and cactuses.
There are a few structures like the Desert Temples and Desert Villages apart from the Desert Wells in the game.
Location and generation
As pointed out above, the Desert Wells spawn only in the desert biomes and have only a 0.001 chance of spawning in any Desert block. Therefore it is a rare structure that can be quite hard to find.
The Desert Wells are generated more in the plains rather than on hilly landscapes.
Structure
The Desert Well have a single structure comprised of a small sandstone well. This is exclusively made out of Sandstone blocks and all of them has a single block wide and a few blocks deep water inside them.
There is also a arch like structure over the top of the Base of the well. The exact reasons for this structure is not known as of yet but it has no good loot or any uses for the players as of now.
However, players have petitioned for a long time for some change to this structures and it serves no purpose and has no value in finding it.
