The history between Conor McGregor and Paul Malignaggi

Paul Malignaggi is a former world champion boxer who has previously trained with Conor. The Irishman shook the world in 2017 when he was part of the cross-promotional fixture against Floyd Mayweather in a boxing match. Ahead of his fight against Floyd, Paul offered to help Conor in training. Paul has a record of 36-8 in his professional career.

Things got heated between Paul and Conor and the sparring session had to come to an end after the Irishman floored the boxer. Conor did not stop there and went on to post the video of him knocking down Malignaggi in the ring. Paul was very upset at this and also confronted the Irish superstar for doing so. Paul has denied that he was floored during training and claimed the video was edited.

Malignaggi, who first entered Conor’s camp to help him against Floyd, soon started rooting against him which led to a lot of back-and-forth on social media. Paul has once again attempted to reignite his feud with Conor with his recent Twitter jab.
